Since I was very young I always loved animals and eventually began drawing them. I never imagined that my love would someday become my profession, and I am so grateful that it happened that way. I worked in telecommunications for many years and took the courageous leap in 1989 to leave a profession that was secure but not me. I began my portrait business but due to an accident in 1991 I became disabled. My recovery would not have been possible without the love of family, friends, and of course my pets. In 2003 I became well enough to restart my pet portrait business. As well as my pet portrait business I teach art to the special needs population at the Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, MA. I am a child activist and have been awarded on 2 occasions for my activist/survivor art. My art and my experiences have been published in newspapers, magazines and television. Even though I do all kinds of art nothing is more rewarding than giving a pet commission to a client and watching the smile and sometimes tears on their face. My pet portrait art ranges from wooden ornaments to fine art canvases to sculpture.
